 Ballet at Music General is one of the most challenging, yet most important styles of dance that we offer and teach to our students. Providing our students with precise technique and movement, ballet offers more than what meets the eye. Students will quickly learn that ballet and its movements are the foundation for many other dance styles, such as Jazz, Tap, Lyrical and even Hip-Hop.
Ballet teaches alignment, placement, balance and elegance. It is a part of every class offered at Music General; barre and center floor work are included in ballet instruction.
