Whether you’re three or 63, we have a class for you!
Music General offers classes for all ages (3 to adult) and special classes for seniors. All of or classes are designed to accommodate the recreational dancer as well as the more serious performer. Intensive Lines (Competitive) are also available for those interested in competing in regional and national dance competitions.
Our dance season begins in September and concludes in June. All Music General dancers perform in a special Holiday Show in December and at our Annual Spring Review in June. Both shows are staged, fully costumed and are a great chance for our dancers to show-off their hard work to friends and family.
Locations & Facilities
We offer great diversity in our classes and we have the up-to-date facilities to go with it. Music General has studios in three locations throughout the Lakes Area: Brainerd Staples and Aitkin. Our dance studios are all fully equipped with state-of-the-art sound systems, Marley and hardwood floors, mirrors and barres.

Please Note:
Music General reserves the right to place a student in classes appropriate for his/her abilities. The decision will be based on a student’s previous dance experience, the appropriate training required and the level of technique demonstrated. It is the sincere intent of the staff of Music General to provide each student with the very best possible dance instruction. Registration in classes beyond a student’s ability or level will not be serving the best needs of the student.
