Music General offers many services and events for dancers to take part in and benefit from throughout the year.
Music General Boutique:
We do have dancewear boutique to accommodate the needs of our dancers. Our store offers a variety of dancewear for tots to teens; all required tights and shoes are available as well as Music General T's, warm-ups, dance and garment bags.
Workshops:
During the year, we are fortunate to have a guest instructor in our studio. These master teachers come from all over the country, many are instructors at other dance studios or are professional performers. Anyone taking classes at Music General can attend these workshops; however there will be an extra charge for all guest instructors, workshops and choreography classes. Attendance for all Intensive Line dancers is mandatory at all dance workshops. Parents will be provided with sufficient notice of any workshops.
Summer Camp:
Each summer the studio offers a four-day long Dance Camp with classes in Tap, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Lyrical and Jazz taught by dance professionals from all over the United States. Any dancer at Music General can attend this summer camp; however all students in Intensive Line classes must attend summer camp.
